A large agricultural exhibition opened today at Rishon Lezion. Poland has on display its latest agricultural machinery. Ghana is participating with a display of agricultural products; and Denmark is exhibiting dairy livestock.
The exhibition, which is being held in connection with the convention here of world agronomists, features a display of Israel’s achievements in the general field of agriculture, with particular emphasis on conservation. The “conversation piece” of the show is a demonstration of how Bedouins live in the Negev. The exhibit includes a Bedouin family, tent, camels and goats.
