The few remaining Jews of Holland, including those married to non-Jews and persons of Portuguese origin whose ancestors came to Holland during the 15th century, have been rounded-up by the Germans and deported, according to reliable information reaching the Dutch Government-in-Exile here.
The report says that the arrested Jews were first used for forced labor helping to construct anti-invasion fortifications on the Netherlands coast, and were then confined in the Westerbork camp from where they were shipped to Terezin in Czechoslovakia. Reports reaching Holland from Terezin indicate that the deportees are in no danger of execution at present.
