A conference on Jewish identity and identification was held here under the joint sponsorship of the Uruguayan Jewish Institute for Human Relations and the Latin American office of the American Jewish Committee. The conference, which was extensively covered by the local press, drew 500 delegates from many Latin American communities. Addresses were given by Dr. Moises Mizraji and Gideon Tdmor, Israeli charge d’affairs.
