Lawmakers are pressing President Bush to explain the administration’s relationship with Saudi Arabia. A group of 11 lawmakers, led by Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), signed a letter to the president Tuesday asking for more information about a Saudi pledge to cut oil prices in the fall to aid Bush’s re-election effort, as alleged in the new Bob Woodward book, “Plan of Attack.”
