Many notables were present today at the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the halfmillion dollar Jewish Community Center in London. The center will house all religious, educational, philanthropic, political and social Jewish institutions, including the Jews’ College, the Board of Jewish Deputies and the United Synagogue.
The building will be ready for occupation at the end of this year.
