The activities of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and of the Hebrew Union College were outlined here today at a press luncheon tendered by Adolph Rosenberg, president of the Union at the Hotel Commodare.
The principal speakers, who included Mr. Rosenberg, Dr. Jonah Wise and Rabbi Maurice N. Eisendrath, emphasized that the Union of American Hebrew Congregations which has just concluded its 38th convention in New York; is the organized body of 300,000 Jews in the United States and was the pioneer in the field of Jewish education.
