The Lebanese Government today apologized to Israel for the attack this week by infiltrators from Lebanon on an unoccupied house in an Israeli settlement near the border.
The apology was presented unofficially at a meeting of the United Nations Lebanese-Israel Mixed Armistice Commission which began an investigation of the incident following a complaint by Israel to the commission.
