The Soviet Union Central Executive Committee today officially approved of converting the Leningrad choral synagogue into a culture house. The conversion will take place tomorrow. As a result of this decision the danger of the Moscow choral synagogue being converted is becoming serious. A meeting of the Moscow Communist Party last night resolved to ask that the synagogue be given to the Atheists’ Association for headquarters.
