In view of the observance of the Day of Atonement by the Jewish community, the Jewish Division in the New York Public Library will close on Friday, September 29, at ### p.m. and reopen on Sunday at 1 p.m., according to announcement by Joshua Bloch, chief of the Jewish Division.
The catalogue of the Jewish Division will be available to the public, and books belonging to its collection may be drawn for use in the Main Reading Room.
