Libya reportedly tried to enlist Israeli intelligence experts to testify on behalf of two Libyans who went on trial this week for the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, 11 years ago. According to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz, lawyers for the two tried to locate Israeli experts willing to substantiate claims that a Palestinian terrorist group was responsible for the bombing attack that killed all 270 passengers and crew on board the flight.
