Life in the United States will “probably not” return to the way it was before the Sept. 11 attacks, FBI Director Robert Mueller told Jewish leaders. Mueller also told the American Jewish Committee on Thursday that coordination between departments in the Bush administration has increased since the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, and that the government is in a “much better position to track down terrorists, whether in the United States or around the world.”
