The Palestine Jewish football team, Maccabee, won over the football team of the Palestine police in a match held here Friday. The score was 2-1.
Sir Alfred Mond kicked off the ball opening the match.
At a meeting of the Maccabee board, held after the game, Sir Alfred was elected an honorary member of the Palestine Jewish sport organization.
