Major, Samuel Weiser, founder of the Hebrew Legion of Britain and member of the Hebrew Committee of National Liberation, has registered with the Justice Department as a recruiting agent for service in Palestine under a regulation governing the activities of foreign agents, the Department announced yesterday. Weiser said he was assisting recruiting for the “George Washington Legion for Palestine.”
