President Roosevelt today announced the appointment of Malcolm Ross as chairman of the President’s Committee on Fair Employment Practice, to succeed Mgr. Francis J. Haas, recently appointed Roman Catholic Bishop of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ross, who served as deputy chairman under Haas, is a former newspaperman and sociologist.
