Measures for increasing the export of German films to other countries, which has dropped heavily in the past year, were urged yesterday by the Boersen Zeitung, inffuential Berlin newspaper.
The paper declared that the decline of German film exports was enlarging the influence of the “Jew-controlled American film industry.” According to the Boersen Zeitung, money derived from the export of German films covered more than fifty per cent of the basic cost of 100 films, while today it only covers less than thirty-five per cent of the cost of such films.
