Leveling operations have commenced in the Emek Zebulun (Jewish National Fund area of Haifa Bay) for the vast new metal foundry and steel workshops to be built by J. Karminer, a German Jew. Twelve acres are to be used for the factory, which will have a capital of 30,000 pound. Building is to commence in April, when a hundred workers will be engaged for a year’s time. It is hoped that the establishment will commence operations within the year.
