Israel Ambassador Abba Eban characterized the Middle East situation last night as an issue of “cosmic survival” that removes from here and causes the danger facing Israel to be a matter of immediate concern to others.

Speaking at an Israel bond function, Mr. Eban suggested that the regional crisis is such on that it now directly involves the intimate interests of the two greatest world power he said he had no doubt of Israel’s survival. He pointed out that ten years ago Israel stood alone while today some of the strongest nations are “in honor” committed to Israel independence.
