The Jewish Public Library became the first Jewish cultural institution here to receive Government support today when the Quebec Provincial Government allocated a token grant of $1,000 to the library. The Provincial secretary has promised additional grants in the future to the institution, which is the only Jewish sponsored general public library outside Israel.
