More than 150 European legislators are slated to head to the Middle East later this month. The visit is part of an initiative launched by a new pro-Israel group of European lawmakers. Titled “A Moment for Peace,” the visit will include meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, King Abdullah of Jordan and the Palestinian Authority’s prime minister-designate, Ahmed Karia.
