More than 400 Chabad-Lubavitch yeshiva students will conduct Passover seders across the former Soviet Union. The students from Israel, North America and Western Europe arrived in Moscow and Kiev on Tuesday on their way to smaller communities. Some 150,000 Jews are expected to attend the seders, according to the Chabad-run Federation of Jewish Communities. The students are equipped with personal food packs that include matzah and other Passover staples. The Passover trip to the former Soviet Union in recent years has become a tradition in many Chabad yeshivas.
