Henry L. Moses, long active in philanthropies and communal work here, was elected chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York, at a meeting of the board last night. He succeeds Edward Lazansky, former presiding justice of the Appellate Division of the State Supreme Court, who served as chairman for the past six years.
