Moslem Notables Ask Kingdom for Syria

A conference of Moslem and Christian notables, members of the Royalist group, which was teld in Damascus Monday went on word as favoring the monarchist form it government for Syria, the French nadated territory.

This demand was embodied in a able sent by the conference to the French government in Paris.

The opponents of the republican form of government, which was voted matly by the Syrian National Assembly, dispersed by the High Commissioner, favor Ahmed Nami Bey, timer Prime Minister, as candidate in the throne.
