Most French citizens sympathize more with Israel than with the Palestinians. According to a poll conducted for the Israeli Embassy in Paris, 26 percent of those surveyed claimed to sympathize with Israel and 19 percent with the Palestinians. However, 35 percent answered “neither one nor the other.”
