Mrs. Archibald Silverman, American Zionist worker who arrived in England on Friday to participate in the British Keren Hayesod campaign, attended today’s meeting of the Board of Deputies of British Jews. She was welcomed by Prof. Selig Brodetsky, the Board’s president.

During the meeting Prof. Brodetsky was queried as to whether the Board planned to take any action regarding Henryk Ehrlich and Victor Alter, Polish-Jewish Socialist leaders, who are being held by the Soviet authorities in Russia. He replied that such action was not within the scope of the committee.
