Murder of Priest by Polish Communist Leads to Widespread Anti-jewish Attacks

Reports reached here today of anti-Jewish attacks in many parts of the country in connection with the murder of a Catholic priest in Lubon, Poznan province, although the crime was committed by a Christian Polish Communist.

Nationalist newspapers assailed “Jewish Moscow” as responsible for the murder. The Polish-Language Jewish daily, Nasz Przeglad was confiscated for reporting anti-Jewish disorders in Warsaw yesterday in which 47 Jews shops were damaged.
