New York police, pursuing their search for two men who, more than a week ago, beat a Hassidic leader to death in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, announced today they have located an eyewitness able to describe the appearance of the criminals. On the basis of that description, the police department today circulated an artist’s sketch, picturing one of the assailants. The victim was Rabbi Bernard Eisdorfer, a disciple of the Satmar Rebbe.
