Natan Sharansky met with the French and Belgian ambassadors to discuss the growth of anti- Semitism in those countries. Sharansky, the minister in charge of Diaspora affairs, called for the meetings with France and Belgium, which ranked first and third, respectively, in a survey of incidents of anti-Semitism around the world.
