An application of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States for a national charter was considered by a sub-committee of the Senate Judiciary Committee today and Senator W. Warren Barbour of New Jersey, a member of the committee, urged that favorable action be taken. Senator Barbour said he was “personally interested” in the bill and that the Jewish organization was a fine one doing an “excellent job.”
