Prominent medical authorities from all over the country participated in colorful ceremonies this week-end, dedicating the new $850,000 National Rehabilitation Center at the National Jewish Hospital here.
A message from President Eisenhower, praising the hospital’s “splendid work of restoring the sick to a productive, useful life, ” was read during the ceremonies. The principal speaker was Dr. Howard A. Rusk, director of the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of New York University-Bellevue Medical Center. The new Center is a non-sectarian institution.
