Sir John Simon, British Foreign Minister, and distinguished English lawyer, has been formally and officially cleared of the charge of being a Jew by the government of the Third Reich. The Nazi authorities have also been kind enough to establish a racial lineage for Sir John.
According to an official order issued to the German press: “References which have been cropping up from time to time that the British Foreign Minister, Sir John Simon, is a Jew, must stop. Simon is no Jew. Furthermore, he is descended from an old Welsh line.”
