Should Franz von Papen be reappointed Chancellor of Germany, as now appears likely, “Der Angriff” will renew its campaign against him under the slogan: “Papen the Jewish Chancellor.”
This announcement is made today by Paul Josef Goebbels, editor of the Berlin Nazi organ, in an article which carries the title: “German Jewry Breathing More Freely.”
The Jews have been spared this time and it is choking us, says the article, but shortly Hitler will become Chancellor and stamp the Nazi imprint upon Germany.
