The Jewish community of Ferrara, in northern Italy, today received a formal apology from the neo-fascist Movimento Sociale Italiano for the desecration of a monument commemorating the death of Jews and other victims of fascism. The community had protested to the party against the pasting of anti-Semitic posters on the monument by members of the M.S.I.
