New Jewish Chaplain Takes over Duties in Saigon

Chaplain Gerry J. Rosenberg has arrived in Saigon to assume new duties as Jewish chaplain of the U.S. Military Advisory Command in Vietnam, the National Jewish Welfare Board announced today. He succeeds Chaplain Alan M. Greenspan who has been reassigned as Jewish chaplain at Ft. Dix, N.J.

A native of Chicago, Chaplain Rosenberg was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 1966. His previous post, before reassignment to Saigon, was as Jewish chaplain at Ft. Benning, Ga.
