New York Probation Expert to Leave for Israel to Aid in Setting Up Parole System

Edmond Fitzgerald, chief probation officer of Kings County Court here, will leave for Israel next month to aid the new state reorganize its court parole system. He will also help Israel plan a probation system patterned after the procedure set up in this city, which is considered one of the finest in the world. Mr. Fitzgerald, a native of Eire, recalled today that he played football with Israel Chief Rabbi Iseac Halevi Herzog when the latter resided in Ireland.
