The centenary of the West End Synagogue, Congregation Shaaray Tefila, will be celebrated this year, it was announced today by Harry N. Wessel, president.
A commemorative program will be arranged during the balance of the year, which will include a series of special services, appropriate Sunday School programs, religious exhibits, the publication of a commemorative Journal and the raising of a $50,000 centenary fund for use in the expansion of the religious and civic services of the synagogue and its community house.
