A survivor of the wartime liquidation of the Grodno ghetto in occupied Poland, who is now a resident of New York, testified in a trial in Cologne of two former Nazi participants in the destruction of the ghetto. Max Dolub told the court that he had watched from a hiding place the activities of the Nazi execution squad which killed 20 Jews in March, 1943, but that he could not say whether Kurt Wiese and Heinz Errelis, the defendants had taken part in the shootings.
