No Deportations from Ellis Island During Passover

No deportations of Jewish immigrants will be made during the Passover holidays as a result of representations made by the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society of America to the Commissioner of Immigration.

Benjamin M. Day, Commissioner of Immigration, will be the guest of honor at the Seder services to be held by the Hias on Ellis Island.
