Not One Jew Elected to Soviet Cabinet

No Jewish Communist was elected to the Council of Peoples Commissars which was chosen yesterday at the Soviets Congress of the U. S. S. R., which closed its sessions here yesterday. The Council consists of eleven members.

Four hundred and fifty members of the Central Executive Committee were elected at the Congress, including 20 Jewish communists. Among the Jewish communists elected to the Central Executive are Trotzky, Kameneff, Litvinoff, Larin, Yaroslavsky, Yakir and others. Of the 199 alternates, six are Jews.
