Note to Hitler: ‘nazi’ is Hebrew for Prince

That “Nazi” is really a Hebrew word is related in the Morning Post here, in an article poking fun at the Nazi anti-Jewish policy.

“It is of course merely an accident but not without humor that the word Nazi is in itself Jewish, meaning a prince or a priest,” the paper writes.

The Hebrew word for prince is “Nassi.”
