Observers believe two attacks on the Moscow office of George Soros’ foundation may be connected with the campaign against a Russian oil tycoon with Jewish roots. Soros, who survived the Holocaust in Hungary and has been a major philanthropist in emerging Eastern European democracies, has publicly supported Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who is in jail for alleged financial wrongdoing at his Yukos oil company.
