The court martial trying army officers on charges arising from robbery and mistreatment of refugees transported to Australia on the S.S. Dunera last July today sentenced Sergeant-Major Charles Albert Bowles to 12 months’ imprisonment and dismissal from the service. Sergeant Arthur Helliwell was severely reprimanded.
