Officials Fail to Act Against Klan in N. J.

The Ku Klux Klan, encouraged by failure of police to act has burned another cross in this city.

Crosses also have been burned by the Klan in other sections of Bergen County. Two were directed at Jack Johnson, Negro, former heavyweight champion of the world.

Last month a Klan cross was burned at Summit avenue and Route 2, Hackensack, while two police cars stood guard.
