Officials of the tech-heavy NASDAQ stock exchange plan to meet Washington to explore ways in which Middle East stock exchanges can interconnect with each other and with NASDAQ. “It could be a NASDAQ Middle East, a platform in which various regional stock exchanges can connect to each other and to the world,” said Frank Zarb, chairman and chief executive officer of the National Association of Securities Dealers, which owns NASDAQ.
