Jake Rubinstein, America’s only Jewish railroad chef, is celebrating his twenty-fifth year as a food dispenser. He now occupies the galley on “The Viking,” Chicago, Northwestern and Omaha flyer, traveling between Minneapolis and Chicago.
Rubenstein has served innumerable celebrities, including Palestine’s High Commissioner, Sir Herbert Samuel, Admiral Cary T. Grayson, Andrew Carnegie, the Mayo Brothers and Bernard Baruch.
