Only one person applied to the Palestine Office of the Zionist Organization in Poland for a visa to visit Palestine during the Passover holidays. Today is the last day on which applications can be made.
Last year the number of applicants was so large that the Palestine Office was forced to ask for additional certificates. The terrible economic situation in Poland is considered responsible for the disappearance of the tourist traffic from Poland to Palestine.
