An original musical and dramatic production will feature the “Night of Stars” which the United Jewish Appeal is sponsoring at the Yankee Stadium on September 20, for the benefit of exiled German Jews. Many prominent authors have written special numbers for the production.
Louis K. Sidney, chairman of the program committee, declared that the production will be divided into two parts. They will include ballet and chorus numbers, skits and many musical selections by leading soloists and orchestras of Broadway.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
