Sholom Asch, well known American Jewish novelist and playwright, was among the heads of the P. E. N. Club delegates to deliver a closing address at the International P. E. N. Clubs congress here.
Mr. Asch addressed the session in behalf of the Yiddish section. The Austrian press on this occasion devoted much space to inform its readers of the growth and development of Yiddish literature in recent years.
