A Polish soldier named Michael Karetsky was sentenced to death in district court today for the premeditated murder several months ago of a Jewish soldier in the Polish Army named Anshel Weinstock. The sentence is subject to review by the High Commissioner.
Police today threw a cordon around the colonies of Ramat Gan and B’nai Brak, near Tel Aviv, in a hunt for persons wanted in connection with the recent terroristic outbreaks. A number of suspects were held for further questioning.
