The Palestine Government announced today that it will suspend the issuance of all visas to and from Palestine beginning April 21.
A Jewish Agency spokesman disclosed that the Agency’s official reply to the truce appeal issued this week by High Commissioner Sir Alan G. Cunningham was turned over to Sir Alan today. Contents of the reply, however, were not disclosed.
It was officially announced that the water situation in Jerusalem has improved following the repair of a mined water main from Ras el Ain. Later reports, however, said explosions in the area of the central pumping station had been heard.
