Supervision over the municipalities of Palestine will be established by the government, the Jewish Telegraph Agency learned here today, when a Briton will be appointed as town clerk in Jerusalem who will be responsible for municipal control.
The official will have his headquarters in the offices of the secretariat of the Palestine government.
